As lead writer and Artistic Director of the TypewriterGirls, Crystal Hoffman writes all original sketch comedy and formed each “poetry cabaret” into a complete theatrical experience. She often attempts to address creative and social issues while remaining Dada and poetic in nature. She also relishes the opportunity to involve the audience in the action on stage as often as possible.
She cut her comedic teeth with AT & Love a sketch comedy troupe in Pittsburgh, PA in 2007 and took sketch classes at the People’s Improv Theater in NYC.
